Online Risk Management (1 Unit: BSBRSK501) (2020) Module


<p>Develop the skills and knowledge required to develop, implement, manage and evaluate risks in a range of contexts across an organisation or for a specific business unit or area.<br><br></p> <p><b>Learning Outcomes</b></p> <ul><li>Identify the fundamentals of risk management principles, framework and processes <li>Establish the risk context within an organisation <li>Identify, analyse and select appropriate treatments <li>Select and implement strategies for treating risks and setting priorities for the effective management of risks including monitoring and review <li>Develop a risk management plan.</ul></li> <p><b>Who Will Benefit?</b><br/><br/> This program is particularly useful for:</p> <ul><li>Managers <li>Supervisors <li>Team leaders <li>Those aspiring to management positions <li>Individuals wishing to have their existing skills and knowledge recognised <li>Individuals wishing to extend career path options.</ul></li> <p><b>Online Delivery methodology</b><br> The module is facilitated over a 5 week period with a combination of online lecture/tutorials, virtual classroom activities and self-study. Typically online lectures/tutorials of 1.5 – 2 hrs each will run once a week during the facilitation period. Lecture recordings are available for review in the Virtual classroom. The delivery method will combine self-paced, online trainer led learner centred courses, formative assessment activities and learning activities involving small groups and the individual, experiential learning and workplace based projects. This module can also be delivered as a stand-alone course and is scheduled at various times during the year giving you many options to attend. You can start your enrolment in the Diploma at any time, and can complete the modules in any order. <b>Course requirements:</b><br></p> <ul><li>Laptop or desktop with min 4G RAM <li>Internet access e.g. plan of at least 2-4 gig per month or access to WiFi</ul><br> <p>This course is a part of the BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management course but can also be undertaken as a stand-alone course.
