<p>This highly interactive course helps you to develop the skills, knowledge and mindset of a successful people manager and leader of team members within an organisation. Managers play a prominent part in managing the performance of people who report to them directly and in providing leadership to teams.</p> <p><b>Who will benefit?</b><br> This program is particularly useful for:</p> <ul><li>Managers <li>Supervisors <li>Team leaders <li>Those aspiring to management positions <li>Individuals wishing to have their existing skills and knowledge recognised <li>Individuals wishing to extend career path options</ul></li><b>Learning outcomes:</b> <ul><li>Allocate work to groups and individuals <li>Assess an individual’s workplace performance <li>Provide feedback to individuals <li>Follow up on performance issues and achievements</ul></li><br> <b>Online Delivery methodology</b><br> The module is facilitated over a 3 week period with a combination of online lecture/tutorials, virtual classroom activities and self-study. Typically online lectures/tutorials of 3 hrs each will run once a week during the facilitation period. Lecture recordings are available for review in the Virtual classroom. The delivery method will combine self-paced, online trainer led learner centred courses, formative assessment activities and learning activities involving small groups and the individual, experiential learning and workplace based projects. Learners who do not currently hold adequate literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course will be provided with additional learning support or directed to Foundation Skills programs based on the level of assistance required.</li> <li>The VET Learner Handbook and Agreement provides information on your rights and obligations as a learner.
